NMSO (National Master Standing Offer) is a procurement vehicle set up by PWGSC (Public Works and Govt Services Canada). It includes a variety of products and services which have been evaluated by PWGSC and found compliant from a price and technical perspective.

Sun Products on the NMSO are for the supply of UNIX, Linux, Archival and Mass Storage Systems.

Under the UNIX/Linux NMSO, Sun products are available in the following categories: UNIX 1-2Way, UNIX 2-4Way, UNIX 4-nWay, UNIX Workstation, Linux 1-2Way, Linux 2-4Way, UNIX Options, Linux Options.

The Archival NMSO contains Sun products in the following broad categories: Tape Autoloaders, Tape Libraries and Disk-Based Storage.

In the Mass Storage NMSO, Sun products can be found in the SAN categories 4 & 5 and NAS category 3.

Any authorized representative of a Canadian Government Department, Department Corporations or Agency Corporations as defined in the Financial Administrative Act, can purchase under these NMSO agreements.
