  • Describe the management network and its components
  • Describe the fault management mechanism and its components

Module 2 - Installation of the Sun Blade 6000 Modular System

  • Install or replace the I/O modules
  • Install or replace a CMM
  • Install and replace the power and cooling components
  • Install or replace the system chassis and its components

Module 3 - Configuration of the Sun Blade 6000 Modular System

  • Describe the Sun Blade 6000 Modular System Chassis Management Module (CMM)
  • Connect to the serial port on the CMM Reset the CMM and root password
  • Describe the Integrated Lights Out Manager (ILOM) CLI namespace
  • Configure the network parameters on the CMM management port
  • Describe the internal management network
  • Access a server blade through the CMM
